First, let me commend you on a site to truly help folks. I find it upsetting that wealth has made you unhappy. I hope you find what you are looking for and have the happiness you are seeking. When i saw this site, believe me when i tell you my need is not to invest in a business or materialistic by all means.
I am writing and are very much of the kind of help you are willing to give. You see, we have lived a military life style up until 1994.
we were finally able to buy our first home, and settled in it for 10 years. We have always been careful with spending and having enough to get by. But that is all we have ever been able to do is just "get by". I am at my wits end to get caught up with some financial creditors that have been hounding me for almost 2 years, trying to do my best to get things paid for, and on time. things have just snowballed to a point that i have taken part time jobs besides my regular day job to get things paid for.
I don't want to declare bankruptsy,already been down that road too. I feel like i have been cursed with a debt over my head, because everytime i have the monthly amount i need for my debt counselor, i have had something go wrong each time. i am not kidding, it's been everything from car repairs on our only vehicle, appliance repair, a change in my wages because now i have a garnishment coming out on top of all the money i have budgeted for the month. I don't want my kids to start their lives in debt because i have so much to pay back.
I try to help them when i can, but it's never at the capacity i would like it to be. I am asking of this once in a lifetime favor to grant my one wish of a financial burden, because i have tried all other resources..and i just want the one chance to make things right for myself and my family.
So please, if all possible, i am asking for a mere 50.000.00-75,000.00. that is everything i will need to get my life back on track and never have to look back and struggle any longer. Please consider my request and i hope you have it in your heart to assist me and answer my daily prayer of hope. Because everyday i hope i don't have another negative event happen to push me back even further and never be able to get out this mess.
You are my last resort, my hope and angel of mercy to my rescue.

Hi Barry,
I'm not sure where I should start.
It's not everyday that someone comes along to aid others in times of distress.
I know that you're probably flooded with thousands of email everyday. We need more people to do good, whether its financial, or emotional support.
I'm not going to write a sob story, I can only be honest and hope for a positive outcome.
I am $3,000.00 in credit card debt. I have every intention of paying every cent back and would like to request $500.00. Believe it or not, this amount will help me on my way to financial independence. Once I pay off my debts I intend to start my own business.
I appreciate your consideration.

I need your help in preserving a portion of my childrens childhood and history. I recently lost my job and can not afford to pay for these items now. We were given a trip to California to visit their Great-Grandparents and have a ton of photos from this vacation.
Some of these photos were taken by photographers in California, including some from Disneyland. The problem is that I can only order these images on CD for up to 30 days from the date that we confirmed them online.
I am running out of time, the combined cost of these images and some others we need to order is $265.00. Some of these images are the only ones of my kids and their Great-Grand Parents, one of which is very ill and not expected to live. I beg, please help us in protecting these memories that my children have. I have only until 4/12 to get this taken care of, but the sooner the better. Please all I am asking is that each person that reads this spare a dollar or two.

Hello Barry
My family and i were involved in a terrible car accident due to a drunk driver almost 7 years agowhere he was killed . All of us were injured (wife ,daughter and I) with myself getting the worst of it curshing my pelvis and leg and closed head injury and have not been able to work since. There was not much of a settelment for the drunk driver did not have very good insurance so with all the costs od the medical bills and therapy it took all of the settlement and then some. we hade to put a mortage on our house witch was paid for to pay the bills. and with me being disabled and my wife the primary bread winner we are haveing a hard time to pay the mortage and all of the day to day bills and my medications.
If you could find it in your heart to help us to pay part of our mortage to where we could make smaller payments or all of the mortage we would be very greatfull. My wife works very hard at work and to take care of me and has not turned her back on me because I am not the same man I once was ad am not able to work We love where we live but are fearfull that with the prices of everything we will lose our home in the country we love so much.. It may not be the nicest home but it is our and we are struggling to keep it that way but do not know how much longer we can hang on.

If I could get out and do it my self I surly would.

Barry,
Let me start by saying I know more money will never make me happy, but I do believe it will help me to become a better person and give my daughter the life I never had.
I currently work full time from home so my husband can watch our daughter all day. This situation works because daycare is so expensive. Although I make decent money, heatlhcare is our of reach and paying my own taxes each year is a huge burdon. I don't mind being the only income earner, but it has been tough getting used to the idea of a non-traditional family. I don't think I have "paid my dues" to society and this schedule doesn't allow either of us to really give back to our community, or the earth.
If we were to have some moeny, the main thing I would focus on would be counselling for my husband and I. One, to ensure our relationship will last and that we are doing right by our daughter. Second, to better ourselves mentally. Counselling in very valuable, but very expensive.
My husband and I would love to work with charitable organizations. The SPCA here in New Hampshire is always in need of help and it has always been my dream to work with animals. My husband who is a very talented carpenter would love to work with habitat for humanity. We live on great bay and there is a lot of conservation work that we would both like to volunteer for to help preserve the beautiful area we live in. I feel like if my daughter grew up in an environment where her parents were always giving and concerned, this values would be passed down to her.
I would pay off the loan from my parents to get out from under their thumb. My mother causes me a lot of misery. She raised me on welfare, then 12 years ago married a very wealthy man. She says she wants to help me, but she is really controlling and her help always comes with strings. I would love to be able to live my own simple life without her intrusion in this way.
My husbands mother lives with her mother and takes care of her. She is a saint and I would love to do some nice things for her to repay her for the wonderful love and support she gives us.
We would like to have a second child, but I am not sure how comfortable I feel about that until we can bring in more money or secure a three bedroom home in a safe neighborhood. Instead of renting these ridiculous apartments that are in the worst shape ever and cost $1500 a month, we would like a permanant home with enough space for another child. I was an only child and really want my daughter to have a brother or sister.
Anyway, I know that obtaining money that I have not earned won't make me feel better. But I do know it can make life a little easier. And with the plans we have in place, maybe we can make a small difference in the world. I don't want to be a millionaire, I just want a stable home and live for my family. If for some reason you would like to help us out, I can promise you we will all do our best to better ourselves, focus on community, family, loving each other and the environment and try to raise another concious, respectful, sincere, and committed generation.

I am a disabled vet of 100% disability, I use a four wheeler to get to the store, the four wheeler I use as my legs. I am handy cap. my old four wheeler blew up, and I started riding my lawn mower, low and behold my lawn mower blew up too., I can't afford a new four wheeler. , I live off a fixed income., I've emailed barry twice, and this is my 3rd message, the four wheeler gave me freedom, at this time I have no freedom of my own , I also have brain damage, can send proof of disability papers, certified and notorized, My paper work also states I have pain in arms , legs , neck and back, , , they have Honda's 450 racing with elec. start for $29.00 a month, my credit score is not high enough, to finance my self one., if by chance you or some body reads this , I could paye $100.00 a month back, making 3 payements at once, it just don't make sence to me, my email and address is in my profile,.HELP a Vet. ! I was diagnosed over a year ago with NHLf, stage 2 . So far this year, my medical bills have totalled over $3000, we currently owe 2383.48. This out of pocket amount will continue to grow through the end of the year. I still have at least 1 year of preventative/maintenance treatments, and possibly for the rest of my life (since lymphomas tend to recur). We pay almost $5000.00 per year for our medical insurance and have an average of $5000.00 plus out of pocket medical expenses per year. Our medical insurance went up another $48.00 per month this year. We spent most of our cash reserve to finally catch up with these bills since Nov 05. We are just trying to keep our head above water with these bills.
I can go on and on but why keep boring you with my problems...(I can fax you a copy of my current hospital statement and a note from my oncologist so you can verify my situation.)
When we got our hospital statement today, my wife cried. I decided I needed to do something....I don't know where else to turn. Can you help?

I am sorry Barry to hear of your problems. I have been praying to God to help me with my finances because the utilities this winter was hard on me and a friend told me where maybe I can get a solution and that's where he showed me your web site. See I'm a disabled widow that only makes $852 a month. I'm a Christian and I believe Jesus is going to help me, but we have to help ourselves first. If I have to humble myself first and ask for help first, than that's what I'll do. As for the amount, I will leave that up to you. If you find it in your heart to help me, than you'll find it in your heart to find an amount. I will be praying for you.

Please help me protect the memories of my childrens first vacation. We were given the opportunity to go visit their Great-Grandparents in California over spring break and were able to do a lot of great things.
We were able to get and have a lot of photos taken on this trip and need your help. We are asking for $150.00 to help pay for the pictures to be developed and to obtain some images that were taken at DisneyLand of all of us.
I recently lost my job and am in the process of finding a new one, but we only have a short amout of time to order some of these photos before we lose them forever.
Please help me help my children by giving them something that they will have of the rest of their lives and have the ability to remember people that may soon pass away.

Hi Barry,
My husband and I are in the process of adopting a baby girl from Kyrgyzstan. She was coming to the states for medical treatment and we were to have 6 months to adopt her. 2 weeks ago, we were told that if we did not process the adoption now, they would give her to someone else. We needed the 6 months to come up with the last $10,000 to finalize the adoption. I don't want a hand out. I just need a loan. If we don't get her medical care soon, she may not be able to be treated at all. Thank you so much for your consideration.
