Hey...Barb the fisherman here...

All you people who are complaining and doubting, did you bother to read what Barry himself posted as the very first post on his homepage. Basically, yet briefly, explaining that yes he was looking to give away money (which apparently is where most of you stopped reading and started begging), but then he goes on to say that his own life is in turmoil to some extent (I cannot recall his exact words but I do recall him using the words 'miserable' and 'lonely'.

So, although he's willing to share with those he feels like sharing with, he's obviously going through some issues on his own and at the very least here, have some patience with the guy. It may take him years to come to terms with whatever he's going through, or not. Who knows? But to sit here and badger the guy because of imjpatience and only looking at what YOU need without considering what HE may need and be going through, well, it's people like you that make this world such a harsh place to live in. Have a little patience and maybe talk to him a little....ask him what he might need from you.

This is a lesson in life...not just about in how to get money from Barry. Try looking outside of yourself more than inside. What goes around comes around and I've seen it tried and true.

This is Barry's money...not mine or yours or anyone elses. If he changes his mind about giving it away, that's his right. So come on you guys. Try to remember what life was like before you discovered BegBarry.com and get back to helping yourself while you wait. Maybe he will help you and maybe he won't. But what good does it do to make someone who's already feeling badly to feel worse? It does NO good.

And Barry, I hope you're life is looking better for you cuz it sounds like you are or were going through what most of us go through at some point in our lives, sometimes at several points in our lives. But if you keep concentrating on the positive (force yourself to smile...it's hard to b e mad with a smile on your face for any length of time...seriously) then things will seem to get and FEEL better which is what's important., It's all relative. What may make your life feel better is probably different than what would help me or someone else. When you're feeling bad, force yourself to think for longer than 5 minutes about something that used to or still can make you feel happy. And that feeling will make you feel better. And the more often you do this, the better you will feel for longer periods of time until once again you're feeling at least OK without trying too hard.

Look how much hope you've given other people, even as they wait to see if they're going to get any money from you. Just that small amount of hope may be enough to enable some people to see the better and more positive aspects of their lives.

And if all else fails, try getting a pet like a cat or a dog if you can handle it...even a little bird. Find a way to look outside of yourself and try not to isolate too much and try not to keep focussing on the negatives but the positives.

You know why barry was so miserable with money. Because when someones rich, people just pretend to like you. A rich person doesn't know who their real friends our. And then he has all these people angry at him on his web site because he didn't give them $10,000 dollars or whatever. He picks the people he finds desearving and he doesnt have all the time or money in the world to help everyone. He became overwhelmed with this web site because so many people responded and he couldn't choose everyone and those are hard decisions to make. Then he has people get angry at him because they didn't get what they wanted. Yeah he probaly abandoned this web site. He problay has no faith in the human race rich or poor. You people who are saying mean things about him should feel horrible. Your probaly respondsible for ruiniing this kind, generous act rarely seen in the world today.

Hey Barry, it is always good to have a goal. If getting super rich was your goal, well you got there.
You should think up new and interesting things, that you personally, could do with your money,
like maybe start base jumping, try writing, or get into the film industry. Find something to be passionate about.

You could spend your whole life looking for purpose and never find it. Purpose isn't something that you can find, it's something that you have to make.
Sometimes I feel depressed and unmotivated. I wonder, what the point is, but then I remember what my goals are and work to fulfill them. I'm not trying to lecture you.
I am just trying to share, with you, what I've learned and hope it helps.

Don't waste your fortune. Use it constructively. Start a charity, help others if you are interested on your own. Giving away money will do nothing. Travel to different countries a lot. Meet people. It will make your life more interesting.

OK where do I start, I just wanted to chip in here. I don't know if You are for real or not Barry, But I know there are a lot of people going through hard times right now. I know, I am one of them. But lets review, Barry you say that youre life is shallow, empty and lonely. so i would guess that you either don't have or maybe lost your family? but your depressed, it happens, the main thing is what you do about it. it kind of sounds like your giving up, but that dousn't fit either, quiters usually don't become rich, Maybe you feel a little lost? kind of like, I made it to the top, now what? as Lucy said to Charlie Brown, maybe what you need is involvement. a new challenge? helping people is a great thing, and goodness knows I could use some help, but after the good feeling of helping someone fades, what do you do then? it's been suggested that maybe you could start a orginization of your own, Bill Gates did, so has Warren Buffet, and they are the richest men in the world. If you are really as rich as you say, have you thought about something like that, something that you could start, that will take on a life of it's own? and grow? stop, review, and think. you were smart enough to get rich, BE smart enough to find that next challange, smart enough to make your life worth while again. life is a trip, not a destination. be smart, and get Happy again.

When I first seen your sight it was like a light bulb turned on..
It breaks my heart to see you or any one else so alone and unhappy I can relate however as I am the same...its not that a person feels empty its that no one has filled the gap...no one to give and receive from....someone to share your dreams hopes and then desires of completion I felt that love for live only once and now I'm still looking. I will feel less stress for sure if I had money but bottom line is I would still be looking for the feeeling of completeness. You are a healer of spirit my dear and you will find the love you desire and sharing your wealth will then mean your purpose,,,, so enjoy the wealth of giving not many can do that take pride in being special you are loved for you being blessed.
